Camp Green Pastures 2015

Camp Green Pastures, 2015

Here are a few photos taken in Term One when Triple L and Room 5 were on camp at Green Pastures. We were involved in lots of activities like trudging our way through the dreaded mud run; swimming, kayaking and trialling out our DIY rafts in the lake;target shooting, archery, cooking smores and lots of other team activities.

We had a great time and only wish we could return there every week.

We had representatives from the NZ Army who raised and lowered the flag. Sergeant Roberts spoke about the Fields Of Remembrance which have sprung up all over New Zealand. Many schools have received crosses with names of local soldiers who have died in wars. We had thirty crosses planted in our Garden Of Memorial.

We had lots of children sharing information about ANZAC Day as well as sharing family war stories.
